Before the great falling out of 2013, Noisey attempted to send in a reporter to interview Waka and Gucci at Waka‘s most recent show in NYC but instead dude ends up getting traumededed and put to the challenge of drinking a bottle to the facade.

Bayoz Muzik, one of the producers behind the distinctive SN1 sound — released his latest project, Death of a Beat Maker. The tape includes appearances from Giggs, Waka Flocka, JME, Blade Brown, and more. Grab it below. Giggs, the South London road rap frontman linked up with Waka for this track produced by SN1 in house beat creator Bayoz Muzik. This is the second track from the duo, if you didn’t hear the first — check that. Visuals below. Giggs & Waka Flocka “Let Me Get That” (Prod. Bayoz Muzik)
Gila Monsta has laced another proper remix featuring two of your favorites — Gila put their vocals in a whole different environment. Be sure to check his instrumental EP next week. And of course, the Gorgeous Children album will be dropping via PTP on October 17th. Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka Flame “Pacman (Dust Trap Remix)” (Produced by Gila Monsta) Waka has a great sense of humor or takes a lot of hallucinogenics (maybe both). Though if Freud were to psycho-analyze this video….somethings I rather not know Triple F Life drops this Tuesday
Big K.R.I.T. “Temptation Remix” (Feat. Juicy J & Waka Flocka Flame) Bo Deal, Waka Flocka, and Chief Keef over a Southside track. #InstantPost Hearing Keef next to Waka makes the comparison of the two seem that much more dumb; Waka: energetic; Keef: deadpan. Assume this video was shot before Keef got his Gucci Ski Goggles.

Update: TAGLESS version. Waka Flocka “Guns Blam” (Feat. Meek Mill, Produced by Southside) Nuff props to DGB Bonus: Nothing quite warms my soul the way a cool ass interview with Flocka does, especially when the topic revolves around him speaking on his rap-writing process. The unbridled honesty is just refreshing, to say the least. In the following clip, he decodes his classic “O, Let’s Do It.” Waka in Paris. Who would of thought that in 2012 the best Mobb Deep record would be by Fozzie Bear (and people say he ain’t Hip-Hop). Dark, brooding production with nihilistic, animal raps deliverd from the man with a stomach like a porcupine. Watching this video makes me think that President Obama may want to consider Waka for Seceratry Of State. Every country would be our friend and we would have world peace. #SQUAD
Waka Flocka is an open flood gate for quotables…no shit…but to have a relatively earnest conversation with the guy about his sound (Lex Luger vs. Southside …in a production battle to the death) and writing process, while gettin’ inked up? LEVELS. No, no, no, wait…he truly wins for being the most serious about his not taking himself so seriously. This might be the best Selector freestyle yet. Dead ass. |
