Hip hop meets hardcore (and metal)…why not? These two extremely outspoken, youth-driven, American musical subcultures, born roughly around the same time in the 70′s, run on the same fundamental belief system, so it makes all the sense in the world to throw the two together in the same room. On October 22nd, True Till Def will make this collaboration happen in a very memorable way at NYC’s famed Santos Party House.

The event is a marriage of two of the most nonconformist, free spirited and challenging musical movements rooted and ingrained in New York City: Hardcore and Hip Hop.

Plus, find me an OG New Yorker who doesn’t cite albums from the Bad Brains or Cro Mags alongside Public Enemy and the Wu as their favorites of all time. As a matter of fact, it all sounds like an episode of Boundless Radio!
