#TRAPRAPFRIDAYS is back at Drom NYC tomorrow night. Expect an evening of finely turnt-up trap rap, country rap tunes, and shake junt anthems spun by the talented likes of KDS (Ballers Eve), Farrington G (Dirty Glove Bastard/BLB), Meka (2DopeBoyz), Mess-Kid, Low Key (U Heard That New), and myself. J. Ross (Gldstndrd) plays host.
Last time this happened, we were overcapacity, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire was the host, and he was daring the “dancing ladies” to “impress” him…as was loosely documented here.
FREE.99 until Midnight – $10 guys/$5 girls after 12am. 10pm-4am. DROM NYC is located at 85 Avenue A (LES, NYC).
Trap Rap Fridays – the 2nd edition – was quite the “turnt up” event: a large room and a half FULL of people, a stage commanded by the Baller’s Eve and Dirty Glove Bastard collectives letting off nothin’ but huge country rap tunes, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire with 40-odd Peel Off muhfuckas, skrippers, flying dollar bills, and assorted other fuckery. Look forward to the next one…be there.
BBOX Radio was there to stream the whole shit live…and here’s a portion of the night which includes eXqo’s in-crowd performance (at the 73:02 mark)…and that which followed thereafter.
Stream Trap Rap Fridays (Feat. Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire)
#TrapRapFridays is on again…and the folks and familia over at Dirty Glove Bastard and Ballers Eve have nabbed us up for the ride. I was told to tell you to consider this unholy union as New York City’s official “progressive trap rap” coalition…and this event, the 2nd of the 2012 saga, to stand as the gateway to all things trappy and large-sounding, sound system-wise. Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire will host and maybe even perform (or just touch scantily clad women types) for this special Friday the 13th edition. Expect some other special out-of-town guests too.
All this trill ruckus takes place at Drom, 11pm-4am.
BBOX Radio, home to Fresh Out The Box, will probably be streaming this live…so if you are not in the city, sick at home, or not of age…or some other weird shit… you can at least listen to the madness as it unravels on the best Internet radio station out there.
Big up our mans Farrington and KDS. Word the fuck up.
