GrandeMarshall and A-Trak stop by Toca Tuesdays. Bars ahoy. Black Hippies on the radio. Yeah. Raps. ScHoolBoy Q was on a heavy promo run a week ago. The following is his freestyle from Tony Touch‘s show. Bars. Bonus: Video from his Funkmaster Flex appearance. Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire blessed Tony Toca with some new raps. New BK external hard rock/internal pain raps. A Danny Brown triple dose. Why? Because the Hybrid is one of our absolute favorites…no fuckery. Seriously, dude is a rapper’s rapper without being too rappity…makes sense? First up, visual. Danny over some bossa nova, as provided by DJ Tony Toca for Toca Tuesdays. Animated, Hybrid stylings. Second. Some hard, dark, spaced, head trauma shit. ARGHGHHHHHHHHHH!!! Danny Brown “Blunt After Blunt” Finally, this has been sittin’ in my inbox for a week now…just that my last 7 days have been inundated with real life shit (no time for Internet shit…until this fine, rainy Saturday morning). This is a track by Danny! (with Danny Brown as the guest) that was originally slated for a 2009 release, but the project got shelved. Switch out the beat, throw on a 2011 release date, add water…and voila…you get this uptempo, funky shit (filled with lines that make post titles, as seen at the top of this one, as well as references to semi-unreleased Ghostface joints). Danny! “Theme Music To A Killing Spree” (Feat. Danny Brown, Produced by Danny Swain) Shout out to Fool’s Gold Records and Danny Brown for the alley-oop. Supergroup Random Axe shows up to hurt a couple of instrumentals, as supplied by DJ Tony Touch. These cats have a sick chemistry. Very glad. Outdoors Action shows the people listening to Tony Touch‘s Toca Tuesdays that he’s always got a mean couple-of-16′s up his sleeve. Toca throws on some of the most appropriate beats you could give a Queens native with a breathless flow.
Young Chris “Base 2 Ya Face” BONUS: Toca Tuesdays gets a freestyle blessing from Ohio’s own Stalley. To the point. Get Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music). If this is what happens when you fuck up scheduling on Shade 45, I’m on the wrong side of the business. Tony Touch does what he does best and gets the cipher started with both Talib Kweli and Freeway on today’s Toca Tuesdays. |
