Fat Trel and Keef connect to put some sights on their sinister, little duet (didn’t mean to rhyme that). There certainly are tecs…and their peoples are certainly wildin’…thankfully not by actually playing Russian roulette (I kinda meant to rhyme that).

Seriously though, Trel IS one of more stylistically unique and lyrically inclined rappers to come out with the ability to fall under the “trap” category.
Producer du jour, The Alchemist, has undergone a musical renaissance over the last year starting with the Covert Coup project, with fellow weed advocate Curren$y. Up until then, ALC seemed to be going through the motions providing the backdrop for a lot of JV league thun rappers; which is cool if you’re into “thun rap,” but nothing that was exciting or dynamic enough to get beyond a post at 2dopeboyz or 57thAve (Editor’s Note: Big TWINS shit was ill as fuck tho). A now seemingly inspired Alchemist is getting ready to drop a new project which may breathe some new life into a dead concept: a producer’s compilation. Al showcases his ability to read blogs and pick the latest in cool rappers with vocal assistance from Danny Brown and Schoolboy Q on “Flight Confirmation.” A punk rock-styled arrangement clocking in at less than 2 minutes with no hooks or guitar solos; getting right to the point of letting these rappers do what they do best…rap.

Fat Trel didn’t waste any time in getting on this Chief Keef /Lex Luger joint. Whereas Waka and Keef are night-and-day in the realm of emotional tone, Trel and the young Chi-drillionaire find their contrasting levels of technicality as the point of compliment, as expected (Trel being much more calculated in his approach).

Chief Keef and Lex Luger? Of course. John Carpenter‘s chamber music meets big fucking 808’s…of course. Fat Trel will join and add some language to this joint in the end. Should be one of the best Keef joints ever.
