DopeHead (of the much-recently-celebrated Bruiser Brigade) has just unveiled Plaid Palm Trees. This completes the triangle formation of a no-fuck-given rap bumrush headed on by Danny Brown‘s anti-heroic masterpiece, XXX, then C.H.I.P.$.‘ druggy, UFO invasion in audio form, Couch Potato. In typical Bruiser (#)style(!!), DopeHead showcases many styles…many styles (couldn’t help it)…during the course of this free album…and does it masterfully, worlds better (and more enthralling) than practically any other never-been-signed/new signee/old rapper still making rap who gets crazy love on the Internet artist out there. Fuck the talk, go enjoy this.

Oh and to all my thoroughbred Wu heads…Blue (fucking) Rasberry is on this (apparently she is the new Bruiser songstress?!)!!

They Ain’t Him

Bruiser Brigade‘s own Dopehead drops the first visuals off of the upcoming Plaid Palm Trees. Very fresh indeed…especially hearing him on a more calm-type delivery…though best proceed knowing that his bars are still full to the tippy with tough words (a few well-known rappers even get brought up on fraud charges here as well).

Honestly, this just upped it for me in regard to his range and capabilities as far as a dolo artist are concerned. Eagerly awaiting that PPT shit. Plus he rocked over a sample I’ve flipped twice already…archival status.
