With the summer comes a change of the usual routine. For us PTP guys, that means not getting everything up to the readers on time (cause we enjoy the real world ‘n shit) and for Meyhem Lauren — that equates to recording a whole mixtape in a few days while taking breaks from performances at SXSW. Behold the emcee’s latest release, Respect the Fly Shit. The tape features all of the production coming from Harry Fraud and Tommy Mas. And a gang of guest rhymers including Roc Marciano, Action Bronson, Despot, AG Da Coroner, Smoke DZA, and the list goes on.
Meyhem Lauren, the Queens Lo ambassador is readying the release of his next project, Respect the Fly Shit and leaked this track featuring fellow QU co-defendants and the Hempstead lyricist. The LRG backed tape should be out later this summer, and is supposedly produced entirely by Tommy Mas and Harry Fraud.

Mey, Heems, Action, and Fraud congregated in a musty ass hotel out in Austin, Texas. I believe the Turner Classic Movie channel was on when, at that point, Harry thought it’d be a great idea to put a mic to the speaker and capture the fuzzy voices of the old, colorless flick that was pouring from the screen. Drugs could have been involved as well. Off of Lauren’s upcoming EP, Respect The Fly Shit.

A short, entertaining interview…but, let’s face it, the bread and butter is the cipher after all of that. Bars.
