The Larceny Still Pollutes My Crooked Heart

Yesterday, I posted a new video by the duo of Spit Gemz and Shaz IllYork, as The Opposition…but that was just a side treat, it seems. Here’s the first leak off of their upcoming mixtape/project entitled Rules Of Engagement. Something to keep on that radar since the two not only got ’nuff bars for days, but they work extremely well together; one acts as the rapid cover fire for the other to creep in for a little of that single-target knife work. That extra rugged, Eastern NYC, no gimmicks rap, done right.

Is that Psycho Les in the background?

Hammer And War Paint

BK’s Spit Gemz continues to throw thought-provoking gems into the listener’s mind. We hear you g!

Also included (at the end of the video) is a preview of a new joint by The Opposition, Gemz + Outdoorsmen and fellow Lo Life, Shaz IllYork.

Peace to Shaz Illy!

They Call Us Germans

Shaz Illyork‘s second graphic journey into his recent full-length, Air Unlimited. More triple-G material (graff, gear, and goons). Blast this while you pack that bag for a late-night mission.

As a bonus, for some BQE appeal, check the following video of Shaz and his brother-from-another, Spit Gemz. Sharpen up your banger to this.

“Bloodshed”

Double bonus. If you haven’t already, pick up Shaz Illy’s Air Unlimited, for free, right here. Definitely some moody, Queens shit. Some familiar faces pop up too (Psycho Les of The Beatnuts, Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren, Spit Gemz, Timeless Truth, Tommy Mas, Don Producci, and more).

I Can’t Believe It’s Not…

New shit from killa Queens grinder Meyhem Lauren (of the Outdoorsmen), featuring the recently PTP-cosigned Maffew Ragazino. Mey has done plenty of ill collaborations over the years (honestly, too many to name…but he’s covered practically all of the Queens legends to the Wu)…and this one will go up as one of his finest to date. He’s sharpened up plenty (which shows that diligence and good direction can go a long way) and selects one of the nicest “newcomers” to get on some real golden lyrical shit (obviously Maffew is not new to this, at all). Looking forward to the new Self-Induced Illness butters.
