Shit That You Could Trust

Main Attrakionz leaked a new song from the upcoming album Bossalinis & Fooliyones, which they plan to release on October 22nd. For our tri-state people, they’re also playing a few CMJ shows:

10/17 – Brooklyn, NY – 285 Kent – Young One Showcase (Feat. Children of the Night, Kool AD, Deniro Farrar, Cities Aviv, Bryant Dope, Lee Bannon)

Mind On A Green Scheme

Squadda Bambino breaks down the Green Ova philosophy over one helluva summertime-appropriate backdrop. Not always the obvious choice, but whenever a soul music-inspired MAz track is made, it seems to more effectively throw the hot lamp on the fact that these cats ARE truly able-minded rappers…damned good ones at that. Let’s also remember to mention that this more minimal style of production provides a slick contrast to the reverb-heavy, densely layered, awfully beautiful cloud ventures that they made a signature (and wildly popular for aspiring Bandcamp “beat-tape” producers, for that matter).

“Green Rag”

Big up our brother EPMDenny for the heads up.

Ain’t Chasin’

Squadda released this self produced track through their Green Ova imprint. Look out for their next album, Bossalinis & Fooliyones – slated for a September arrival.

Squadda B “Major”

Kept It Quiet

Squadda B‘s original EPSquad Ready I Declare War which we posted a few months ago is now back out as a full 13 track album. You can scoop the full album for $2 (cloudbody bargain specials) or stream it below. Like Squadda‘s other solo releases, he departs from the spaced out sound but still comes correct.

Cloud Shit, Loud Shit

Squadda B tossed out another release for your Main Attrakionz/Green Ova collection, 4 Da Fam. The sixteen track tape is mixed by DJ Slowpoke and features cohorts Mondre and Dope G on guest verses. The next MA project titled Bossalinis & Fooliyones is slated to drop in September.

Grab the tape here.

So They Can’t Leave

Deniro Farrar continues his shared lab time with Shady Blaze and ST 2 Lettaz…but now unites the two Green Ova and Slow Motion Soundz rhyme sayers, respectively, on one big cloud-country, “keep the faith” rap huddle.

None Of You

Shady Blaze the Greenova affiliated emcee dropped visuals for the intro cut on his recently released mixtape Grind, Hustle, and Talent. Scoop the tape. Peace to EPMDenny for the heads up.

No One Else Is To Blame

Shady Blaze, Green Ova‘s rapid fire lyricist is back it again with a new solo project titled The Grind, Hustle, and Talent. Shady dips into getting behind the boards and of course brings along his usual cohorts, including a guest verse from Mondre. You can stream the whole project below or drop a measly 5 on it to trek around with the work. And if you missed, also check Green Ova‘s latest EP.

Pockets Packed

Main Attrakionz‘s fambo, known as Green Ova continues with the relentless grind. They’ve got another free cloudbody release to kick back with, Diamonds of God. Grab it below.

Legal Or Illegal

Another day, another video produced by a PTP family member. MondreM.A.N. (of Main Attrakionz) recorded visuals for the EPMDenny produced cut “Belly of the Beast.” The vid’s not able to be embedded yet … so watch here.

And if you didn’t know — the M.A.N. EP, via DreamCollabo, was recently remixed, check the newness:
