Ghostface, Sheek, and Jadakiss released another track in prepration for their Wu Block album which is slated to hit shelves on November 13th. You can purchase the latest single over here.
Ghostface, Styles, and Sheek link to curbstomp a darker banger. The beginning of this track kinda reminds me of M Bison’s theme music in Street Fighter 2. Supposedly the Wu Block project is nearly complete and includes appearances from Jadakiss, Rae, and Cappa. And of course productions from the RZA. This is starting to sound like one of my most anticipateds for 2012.
PTP extended blog-o-sphere familia, The Diggers Union, just released a conceptual Ghostface-meets-DJ Premier mix project called Duel of the Iron Fists. Laced by resident cut creator, DJ Unexpected, this plays like a Golden Era blend tape on steroids. Wu and Primo fans rejoice…but IMO, the real butter comes in at the end when Unexpected pulls out 10 minutes of some Mean Joe Preem original samples. No matter how musically technical/technically inclined you may be…hearing how those dusty gems were fragmented and rearranged into the boom bap anthems most of us would recognize them as will definitely remind you of the man’s high science and why he should always be respected as nothing less than a legendary producer/DJ.
New Wu Block verses. How do you improve upon a joint produced by The Rza featuring The Lox and Ghost? Let Rae to take ‘em to the cleaners. Enjoy the final version of this…no bombs.
