GBE is a colorful crew of rap music makers. Out the bunch though, SD stands as the most technically agile rapper type (alongside Durk, of course). He may have been seen as the shirtless, gun-toting dread, always at the side of Keef in those glory days of Youtube stardom, but Sosa shadow lurking he is not. It’s more like SD is set on traveling the path once envisioned for the younger, boonie hat rockin’, wordy Keef (who is now apparently enjoying the fact that he can not only laugh and gurgle out inaudibles to and from the bank, but also through entire songs).
Capo, Keef‘s new addition to the GBE imprint, presents something…violent. Kid has a certain flow agility that isn’t quite the m.o. in that camp. Looking forward to his mixtape.
SD‘s debut (?) mixtape is here. Pretty much a consistent stream of that GBE shit that should make you reconsider sending your kid into Chicago’s public school system.
Fredo in the cut is a scary site but when waking up on the wrong side of the bed it can be that much scarier. What starts off as another day in the Santana household with kush blunts, tatoos and gun-toting females, quickly goes awry before the coffee is even made when the jack boys get the drop on SD. They picked the wrong dudes to rob because like the songs warns, they don’t want “War” with GBE.
Fredo Santana‘s It’s A Scary Site drops this Friday.
