Better Pray To God

Yung Joey, Flocka, along with Fred The Godson, cook up something real apocalyptic. Joey’s Along Came Molly mixtape coming soon. #SQUAD

Death To All Of Ya’ll

Young Chris and Cardiak drop their new project, The Revival. Thankfully, us long-time State Prop/YG’z supporters can rejoice as this album is a return to a more aggressive, street-hustle-struggle aesthetic (and/or subject matter). No more Miami nightlife stuff (sorry ladies), with the exception of “So Fly” and “Straight Shots” (go fig), this is pretty much straight Philly blocks and houses (i.e. home invasion)…with a little of that Southern wavy shit you kids like so much. Plenty of good cameos throughout, with exceptional performances by our favorite SP Chain Gang members; Peedi Crakk, Beanie Sigel, Omillio Sparks, and Freeway. I’m not going to post any stand-outs right now, mostly because I’ll be playing a shitload of them on Fresh Out The Box this week and next (and next)…and also because the whole thing is just a click away.

Speaking of Fred The Godson and Styles P… here’s the Bronx old warehouse visual escapade to their older murder rate riser.

Ready To Re-Up

Tony Yayo once again goes for that Hawaiian Snow chemistry by enlisting the talents of Danny Brown, while adding Fred The Godson to the pic. A song about crack. The beat and Danny’s verse-like hook.

Move A Little Different

No, this isn’t brand-fuckin’-new…but some of you non-blog hogs probably missed it. The real point of posting this, other than the fact that nothing, since Thursday, has really moved me, is to further illustrate the theme behind PTP.

WE MOVE A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHERS. You have no choice but to realize that.

Fred The Godson “Move A Little Different” (Feat. Styles P, Produced By Vinny Idol)

This shit is pretty hefty. The 2nd verse is nothing but some new Space Ghost action over a hard beat. Exactly what we want. Fred stepped it up too, and rightfully so. What else is there to be done if you’re getting on a track with your/everyone’s concrete rap hero?

So it goes…

True, we may do a lap or two on the track, but we certainly cannot stand as a site which partakes in the race for strictly exclusive new shit, though short-lived bragging rights to being “first” have been ours on a few occasions. Truly, the winners of that race have crossed the finish line and are well-recognized as such (no, I’m not even considering the shit-show that is WSHH). Redundancy has killed enough potential progress and what’s the point of doing someone else’s job if he/she has it done already (redundant enough?)? No disrespect to the bigger names (blogs) out there…get your paper…but we don’t have corporate sponsors to appease, thus we post what we firmly believe in, and that’s is all.

In that same breath, we could also go weeks without posting a thing (and that HAS happened…once?).
