GrandeMarshall returns with a new project drippin’ with that young Philly soul. This is that old head thoughts while in a Crown Vic at 3am music. Trust us.
Tommy Kruise emerges from out of the mist with this new mix for Fool’s Gold woven together with trap black magic. Expect plenty of bass, chops, and other things that’ll get you reaching for that bottle of drank and/or ziploc fulla gas in seconds, plus some PTP artistry up on there (what up Gila!).
Also, if you haven’t already heard Kruise‘s Memphis Confidential Vol. 1, you should definitely do your system that favor. Jammin’.

Grande with that buttery leather rap. Beyond the genuine “great sounding rap” aesthetic of it all, G once again proves that he enjoys throwing in the subtle details just as much (the wit, maan, the wit). Another top choice off of the Fool’s GoldLoosies compilation.
GrandeMarshall, newest member of the Fool’s Gold roster (congrats again YG), takes a few heartfelt minutes to distribute some old head wisdom. I’m calling this that “North Philly trench soul.”
“Thuggin’ Shidd Pt. II”
You won’t find this on the infinitely-repeat-played 800, but you can get the audio over here.
Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the archived episode of last week’s Fresh Out The Box (we will post it up on here), in which Grande was featured among Trinidad Jame$, Boldy James, Scotty ATL, Rome Fortune, and Wara. That cipher at the end though…
Action Bronson and Party Supplies lift the curtain on their highly-anticipated long-player: Blue Chips. Roc Marciano, Meyhem Lauren, and Kool AD (of Das Racist) all join in on the game. Let’s see how many of the purists will leave their seats unhappy/pleased; since this is certainly a departure from the previous formula of raps over samples with boom-bap drums, and sometimes scratches…rap. I’m with the latter in favoring this (“Thug Love Story 2012″ is a prime example as to how the care-free approach of this album allows for Bronson to kick his feet up and let his personality charm the shit outta some fingersnaps…no homo). Must be that Queens drinking water, right?
Danny Brown leaked a cut that didn’t make the final release of XXX, the concept’s similar to “Fields” — going in on problems with the D, plus a side of personal issues, but the difference in comparison to the rest of the LP is that soulful hook.
