Some Days I Think I’m Looney

Stalley (not so) Savage Journey… visuals to one of the strangest songs on the release. It took me two go-arounds to really dig this joint; at first I was thinking that it was because of the evil cartoon steez Chad Hugo implanted (a huge step away from The Block Beattaz aesthetic, in every way)…then I thought it was because Stalley was trying to fit into a very formulaic structure (perhaps due to being on a Neptunes type beat)…but then I realized it was more the fact that the verses seemed incredibly short; they are at 8 bars a piece (it’s almost like the hook and verse lengths are the same). Might be the sore thumb of the album, but I applaud duke for doing something almost-really normal, while still keeping it “different.”
