Remember when you first heard “American Dream”? How you were like “oh it’s that joint with the same sample that Pac used…but so much iller cause you got all these nasty New York kids on it!” At that point, not too much else was fuckin’ with the C.O.C. posse to me.
The featured clip is a gem (shouts to my potna Note-D for puttin’ me on ut long ago)…from some rare French documentary (that’s what the clip description says?!?) with a look back to ’95 at a young Killa Cam, Bloodshed (R.I.P.), and Digga going through their creative process; linkin’ up to head to the (bedroom) studio for a boom session, beats, bars, and conspiracy theories. It’s crazy to watch because that was exactly what it was back then. Shouts to my fellow Kuzos and my TCF and SDT crews.
The clip also contains an impromptu’ish video to “Harlem U.S.A.” Banger.
One of my favorite crews to do it, and not just because we rep the same borough.
Rest In Power Bloodshed.
