A-Mafia‘s music puts me in a good mood. Nostalgia is overrated but that period when the symphonic boom-bastic sound of Dipset ruled the streets was an era I look back fondly on. For those who hearken back to a less-nuanced time in rap, Mafia‘s straight forward, thugged out yet humorous delivery is a welcomed relief to the current hybrid of styles. There is no mistaking the fact or nothing to figure out: A-Mafia is from Harlem, he sells drugs, and he raps…good. #TRUESTORY
