Whiiteboy, who we introduced to you last week with his video “The Ride”, just released the first installment of his mixtape trilogy. The Stand Alone Complex (The Achilles Complex and The God Complex are set to follow) is a tight and cohesive project that is not weighed down by anything thematically. It seems that many artists when dealing with profound topics tend to put their thoughts and opinions ahead of the music and leave you with a shitty album of half-baked ramblings but Whiiteboy puts making good songs at the front.
