Tree, along with director Davy Goldberg, provide a optical treatment (what?) to the song that, in my opinion, wholly showcases the Chicago MC/producer’s “soul trap” style (it also happens to be one of my favorites from duke): slow, fragmented, Southern-charred marching band funk over a stuttering 808 bounce.
